CAMOMILE AND HOJI-CHA TEA:
Hoji-cha (roasted green tea) comes from thelargest tea growing region in Japan, Shizuoka Prefecture. The green leaves are roasted until they turn light brown and acquire a pleasant smoky aroma and flavor. Blending toasty hoji-cha with camomile, which has an aroma resembling baked apple, produces very soothing tea. It may be served either hot or cold.
PEPPERMINT AND GREEN TEA:
This is a blend of premium green tea from Saga Prefecture and peppermint. Pleasant, slight bitterness that is characteristic of good quality green tea is smoothed by the refreshing, sharp peppermint aroma and flavor. A tiny addition of snow white, puffed brown rice is added to this tea to further moderate the bitterness of the green tea. This tea is excellent as a finish to a good meal.
JASMINE AND GEN'MAI-CHA TEA:
The green tea from Shizuoka Prefecture is blended with toasted brown rice. This nutty and aromatic gen'mai-cha is then blended with jasmine, rosehip, tea leaf stems and camomile, creating a complex taste and a soothing infused tea beverage. This tea is delicious served either hot or cold.

Producer: These blended teas were developed by Maruyama Nori Ten Company in Tokyo, one of the most venerable nori (laver) companies in Japan. The company was founded by Hikobei Tsushima in 1854, and is located in the heart of the Tsukiji district, just outside of the famous Tsukiji Fish Market.
The company added the tea business to its line about 25 years ago. Their customers, high end sushi restaurants, began to ask if they could supply high quality tea as well as nori. When you sip Maruyama Nori Ten's tea, you can taste 152 years of its business success and as well as their innovative spirit.
